McCoy P. is a 5th grader at my school. He is one of 12
nationwide elementary school finalists in a video project sponsored by Scotties
Facial Tissues. Contestants each created a video on the importance of
trees -- to themselves, their school, and their community. In his
video, McCoy also explains how Woodridge is currently trying to beautify a
green space between the 4th and 5th grade hallways, by developing different
outdoor habitats including desert, tropical, grasslands, a pond, learning hut and raised garden beds. You can see the incredible plans in the video.
McCoy is an amazing young man. He is extremely creative. During lunch, you can find him teaching 5th graders how to create movies and the tips and tricks of animation software. He's a natural born teacher!
